Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
This is a logo for a car retailer company. The idea here is to play on the « Green Light » concept and finding the right car for you. The name being simple and easy to remember, the visual had to be straightforward with high impact.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
I played around with the “Dot” concept directly on my computer.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
V5 Prophit.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
The Green is a reminder of the traffic lights.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
4 days.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
To find a good idea based on the “Zoom” (i.e. focus) concept and make it visually balanced.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
No (for now at least!).
