Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
Vybez.nl is a portfolio website. So the logo had to be simple but still had to express creativity. I kept the wordlogo in clear simple letters, but using the pink (paint)splatter to express creativity and to break trough the simple logo.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Illustrator CS4.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
I always start first with a sketch book. After a few ideas I will take my mac and start designing.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
I used Chunk Five.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
Purple stands for creativity.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
After I decided that this was the one, I finished in a day. Coming to this point, probably a month.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
To make it simple, yet creative.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
No.
