Interview With Ancitis
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
First of all it was a client project. I was given much information what should the logo portray and include, mostly depending on the name, which as you see is a Spanish word “vivo” what means live, alive, living, lively, vivid, hot, bright, quick, vital, active, rich, smart, animated, happy, etc. As well as it was for an upcoming online cloth store.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
Yes. I started with drawings/sketches and only then moved to computer. I’m not a very good sketcher myself but I totally do my best when bringing it all to vectors.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
No fonts were used. Just my own made unique typeface for this specific logo.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
I used the information about what the name means, so I had to use all the colors I could imagine.
Q:Do you have any sketches of the logo in the early stages?

Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
I worked on 3 different concepts (this wasn’t the final one) and a couple of revisions for the final logo and it took a week to finish this all.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
The colors and the perfect flow for the letters.
