Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
This design was part of a series of robot wall graphics. The idea came from the nostalgic fun aspect of vintage fifties robots.

Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
Sketched with pencil and paper, developed in Freehand, finished in photoshop.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Wisdom and data seventy – vintage loveliness!
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
The colour scheme comes from a standard colour range for this series of wall graphics. Custom colours are also available.
Q:Do you have any sketches of the logo in the early stages?
Rough sketch for layout helps collate references in visual form and makes producing the vector very fast.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Combining a vintage feel with a flat graphic treatment.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
