Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
Started with the idea of just the “V” and then the eagle developed it’s way into things.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
Started with the V and then with some help from a friend I began to develop the eagle into the concept.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Myriad Pro bold and Helvetica Neue Regular.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
I wanted to make the eagle really pop so wen’t for a gold shade on the eagle with a bold background colour so the eagle would stand out in the negative space.
Q:Do you have any sketches of the logo in the early stages?
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
About 1 week.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
To get the eagle just right but still keeping the structure of the v complete.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
Not really, I’m very happy the way it turned out.
