Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?

I had to make a logo for a non-existing product, a gps for a bicycle that also provides the rider from nice music. I therefor combined a note and an arrow in one simple but memorable forme.

Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.

Adobe Illustrator CS4.

Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?

I started on paper, it didn’t went well in the beginning but as i found the final shape nobody could stop me.

Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?

Alte Haas Grotesk, with many modifications.

Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?

Vivid colors for young bikers.

Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?

About a week.

Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?

The composition of the word ‘velio’ and the logo itself.
