Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?

It is the abstract image of a grape cluster. And, at the same time, each circle represents every word of UVA (that´s why are three). This has sense because UVA means, in spanish, grape. And this logo goes for a new chilean magazine that speaks about wine, spirits and food.

Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.


Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?

Direct to the computer and then color test. But it was a fast work, because our aim was to go with simplicity. We wanted, above all, that the cross from one letter to another can be as organic as possible.

Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?


Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?

The colors were self-defined, because we selected them according to client´s corporative colors. At the same time, two of the three of them matches with the colors of branches and leafes of any vineyard.

Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?

Less than a weak week.

Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?

Match this logo, as an image you can´t modify, with the many different cover magazines UVA can have now and it the future. It was the condition and a challenge for Emporio Creativo.

Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?

This logo is simple. We don´t get bored easily with it. But maybe you can always improve your work. It´s always work in progress!
