Interview With Jeiji
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
I woke up, needed to be creative, and thought it popped in my head.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Tch! Adobe Illustrator, or COURSE…
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
I sketched a few doors opening, and decided on using the negative space as positive space. Then I just replicated it in AI.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Century Gothic, bold and regular.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
Traditional doors are made of wood. Wood’s brown.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
Meh, about 20 minutes.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Trying to see if someone else had thought of it before I had. It just seemed too simple, and I was afraid of it being unoriginal.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
Nah, I’m done widdiss.
