Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
From the name of the logo, Snowkap. Snow-capped mountains.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
I actually use a variety of programs, even PowerPoint. Whatever I can use, I grab it by the neck and put it to work.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
As for most of my work, I was laying in bed and suddenly thought of it. So I grabbed a pen and paper and sketched it out. The next day I set to work on the computer.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
For the main text (“Snowkap”) I used “Flashit”.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
Basically what a snow-capped mountain looks like.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
One day.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Overcoming a possible “cliche” in design of the mountain.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
No. I love it the way it is.
