Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
The job was commissioned by Schindler & Parent Identity in Berlin.
I started by sketching and sketching. The client asked to bring take out the triangle from the original brand and bring it together with the “C”. The C stands for Compact and the arrow for forward, Compact-Forward.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
Used only the computer.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Akzidenz grotesk and Bauhaus
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
It was given by the client.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
3 Weeks.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
The client.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
It needs more work on the type.

I just saw this logo near Santana Row in San José on a HUUUUGE lit-up sign last night, like RIGHT after I saw it here. I was like flipping out in the car, and all my non-designer friends were like… whaaaa?
