Interview With Bill Kenney
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
The client wanted a simple and clean typeface solution that reflected a bit of her personality.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
Since we knew there was going to be no mark we decided to go straight into Ai.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
This solution is a modified version of Wisdom Script and the brand will also carry Neutraface as the supporting type.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
The client expressed that the color palette was wide open but that orange was her favorite. We came to the conclusion that orange was a good fit as far as her market and competition.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Holding ourselves back from adding any unnecessary junk. It is always a struggle when you are creating on such a simple level, you always are trying to add more when that is not necessary.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
Nothing at all.
