Interview With Angus Griffin
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
Well to be honest I tried to keep it simple, and bring through the elements of the name. Creating a “p” in the negative space, ending in a pixel, and then adding an actual pocket in the negative space of the “p.”
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
With this one I went straight to the computer and started developing the shapes and putting them together.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Highland Gothic.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
With this one it was directly from the client, well the two base colours, and then I created and choose the colours to use.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
All in all, from beginning to end half a day.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Biggest challenge was to bring through the pocket, in a subtle way, whilst still making it clear.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
Maybe the typography a bit, a few tweaks :)
