Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
My husband came up with the name MYGANI, It’s an acronym combining the words “MY God And I.” The letter G represents God who is the center and foundation of our company.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator of course:)
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
I didn’t use pen and paper for this one, but I had tons of visual ideas.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Futura, Palatino Italic, Shelley Volante.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
It started out being pink, because we were originally designing a lot of wedding invitations. But once we evolved into developing more business related projects, we chose BLACK – it’s simple, classic and sophisticated.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
2- 3 weeks.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Choosing a color that was consistent with our brand.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
Sometimes the G is so big:) but I have started using it as a design element throughout our marketing. I love the end result!
