Interview With Ancitis
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
It was for a logo design contest. The actual name there was a little bit different, but the idea of having quotes from movies published in their site was the same.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
This idea didn’t need much sketching as you may see, but yes, I did sketch before and only then moved to computer. I did a little research about the theme before all the drawing as well, to get some inspiration.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Century Gothic, which I modified to get the right feel for this actual logo.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
That wasn’t easy. I knew I need something dark but I didn’t want to use black this time. So I ended up with a dark pastel blue.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
Don’t remember. Most of the time I spent finding the idea not making it.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
To keep it simple. Not add too much details but still make it original and memorable.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
No. I like it as it is.
