Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
This logo was done for a consulting company so I thought I should design something that shows thinking and finding solutions. When you consult someone, you ask for ideas and an advise that works. The human head is a symbol of thinking and the puzzle is a symbol for results. I combined them together to show that the consulting service will bring solutions.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator which is almost always the first choice for most graphic designers when designing logos.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
I created the puzzle pieces several years ago and I found them when I needed them because I keep a good record of my old work. The head was drawn using a Wacom tablet. No drawing on paper was needed.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Trebuchet & Din-Light.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
It took me a long time to decide on this combination of colors.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
5 hours.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
To make an excellent logo you need a symbol that speaks for the company that owns it. It was challenging to find two good ones that can be combined and work well together.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
Nothing, I’m satisfied with he result.
