Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
A clean white room where a “knowlegge ball” is floating. A sort of hi-tech mind, communicating know how and intentions of the committent. In this design was crucial transform a 3D concept in 2D world in an elegant and effective way. Also the color gradient schemes was used to add a “fake” glow to the blue element of the logo.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
First designs was made in Corel Draw, then finishing and retouching in Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
First I started sketching on paper, then recreated the logo with the software and adding lettering. At the end some color schemes was tried and presented. One was chosen.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Custom lettering for the logo and Din for the tag line.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
Thinking to some concepts like technology, future, stability and cleanness.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
About 16 hours, from scratch to finishing.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Trying to balance the fonts and the colors.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
mmm… I did a green version that was not bad…
