Interview With Ancitis
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
I had a client who was looking for a logo for his herb selling business. So this was one of the variations.
He actually chose another design, but I didn’t want for this one to go waist (cause I really liked it myself), so I thought out of a different name (I searched for a name that would balance under the leaves and that would have a letter in the middle of it which I could use as the bole and here it is.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
Usually I do a lot more sketching before I move to the computer but this one was done fully on the computer from the very beginning.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
I used Lilly font which I altered to get the look I was aiming for.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
That was easy. I couldn’t think of any other colors for this theme as green and brown.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
A couple of days. The hardest part as always was to find the idea not to manage to bring it to life.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
To find and to adjust the perfect name.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
No. I really like it as it is.
