Interview With Aline Horta Design

Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?

The idea from the logo came from the design of the propeller contained in airplanes, which has three pedals.

Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.

Adobe Illustrator.

Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?

The logo was hand-drawn, then scanned and refined in Illustrator. The color scheme and typography were then decided, in order to maintain the same language as the symbol.

Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?

It was decided to use sober colors, which related to the concept of the company, which is serious, technological, and needs to transmit security and responsability to its clientes. We then decided to use blue, which is a color largely used to airplane related companies, as it is the color of the sky.

Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?

About one month.

Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?

To decide which symbol would represent the company’s spirit.

Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?

No, i don’t think so.
