Interview With Goce Veleski
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
It was almost simple. Name + Surname + Pencil = The Final Logo. And not to forget the days of failed concepts.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
It just poped in my dream. I woke up in the middle of the night, opened a new document in Illustrator and made a sketch of two letters G & V. After that I’ve got back to sleep, and in the morning when i woke up, I was amazed of it.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Dekar. That’s a free font from Font Fabric.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
100% Cyan is not something that you really decide. That’s the color that really presents my style of work.
Q:Do you have any sketches of the logo in the early stages?
This was the first version of the logo, where only the letter V was the Pencil.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
About a week since the idea of making it (I was pretty much busy that week, and I was working on the logo in the late hours).
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
The moment of truth. Is this really me, and also Is this the best way to present myself in front of my clients.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
I don’t even want to think about changing it.
