Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
The ‘O’ comes from Open widget environment. The circles are the users working on the open-source projects, creating the ‘glowe’.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Illustrator (always Illustrator).
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
As usual I started out with pen and paper.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
The font used in this logo is Arial Rounded.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
The client gave me his colour preferences.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
From start to finish, it took about 4 days.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
The biggest challenge was to position the symbol and the name. I had some real trouble at first with the size of the mark compared to the size of the symbol, but I think it turned out very well.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
No, it’s good the way it is now.
