Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
Somewhere between dinner and supper.
Fiska means fish in Swedish.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
The logomark was made with Adobe Illustrator, the colorsheme was made with Adobe Photoshop.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
I always draw some sketches with a black marker on a piece of paper before opening Illustrator. So I did the same thing for this logo.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Arno Pro (customized).
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
I was looking for something ocean’ly’, but didn’t like it to be too flashy. So I chose this one because it’s a bit more subtle.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
From sketch till final result, about 2 or 3 hours, but i had to finish my supper first ;-)
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Making that fish pop out just enough.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
Dunno, maybe, maybe not, since this is just a concept logo i might do an update on it in the future.
