Interview With Halil Ibrahim Teker
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
Because this logo will be for a web design company I thought it should contain some elements of creativity in it. As far as the name is an Arabic name (Fikrah), which means idea I thought to combine the Arabic calligraphy with any symbol for ‘idea’. So I drew the Arabic letters in the shape of a light bulb.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator CC.

I started to sketch the ideas to a piece of paper, and asked to my friend and family what changes I could make to make it look better.

I searched on the web which color schemes are popular for the web, so it will be attractive.

Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
Probably 1 or 2 weeks.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
I think that the biggest challenge for me was to fit the calligraphy in the shape. As you can see the difference between the sketch and the finished logo.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
I think that the font could be more fitting by the logo itself.
