Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
The E and A are to symbolize the joining of the two companies. Alliance is the distributor and Eternale is the product.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
Start in Illustrator with the name, and the initials. The just started playing with the type.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Avant Garde.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
Since the logo is for a distributor, I didn’t want the logo to take away from the product. Yet at the same time create something that could stand alone.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
1 hour, didn’t have a lot of time. I guess the disadvantage of working for your father.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Convincing the boss it was the right choice. There first choice, which I didn’t design would have been a terrible decision.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
I might make Allance the same weight as Eternale, so one doesn’t dominate the other.
