Interview With Yana Okoliyska
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
Ekkodesign is a logo for a webdesign company in Norway. Ekko in their language means echo, there for the helix.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
I had the idea in my head and made it straight away.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Myriad font group.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
I used bright colours, because of the logo purpose – once the screen and its colour possibilities, and second because of the design business the logo represents.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
The helix was built very fast, because I knew exactly what I wanted and about half an hour to fit text nicely.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Combinig logo text and image, so they don`t “fight” each other.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
Nothing. I am pretty content with the logo. Hope you too =)
