Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
The company its a drugstore, so the main concept is to relact with idea of care, solicitude and health. For it, I used some concepts to remember the international fundation Red Cross, famous for your peace and care works.
The other concept for the logo is the digital idea. The drugstore will have a bigger marketing in internet, so the web universe is very important for them. So I used the concept of pixels in the logo, pixels that are at movement, going ahead, going up.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.

As all of my jobs, I started with the pen, making some sketchs in the paper, and then moving to the computer to make it real.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
Futura Std. Medium.
The font choice it has a lot of troubles about it. The client said that he has a personal history with futura, so he asked to be that for that reason. So, I made some resourches at the futura family, and found this version as the cleanest one, and the more close to what I was intending to.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
I decided taking into account the Red Cross history, that pixels way to form an image, and then used a a little dark scheme on red to make it more remarkable.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
Well, it was something like a month, including all the other ideas. But this one took me one week to finish after the concept it was ready.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Mix digital concepts, with care concepts, without leave the drugstore main concept.

Yes. I’d change the tipology, definitely I would.
