Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
I love sushi and the came to me.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Illustrator 100%.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
NO, directly to the computer. Play around until i get the shape that I’m looking for.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
Well we see a lot of bright colors, especially red and orange on Asian cultures. In this case Japan.

This is pretty good. It’s not the kind of logo that you build an international brand around, but it’s distinctive and that visual pun will stick in people’s brains. For a local restaurant aiming for a young crowd, it’d be perfect.
