Interview With Toni Romero
Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
I use the word crap a lot, I love Photoshop, I needed my own brand, go figure.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
Adobe Illustrator CS4 son!
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
I normally sketch but for this logo I had a clear idea so went straight into Illustrator.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
No fonts, all vector.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
Wanted something clean and minimal that would go with the logo.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
1 day.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Choosing a font, I ended up not using one in the end.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
I’d probably flip it upside down :)

personally don’t think the logo as clear as intended, but the idea works. kind of looks like dbp or dqp to me rather than the word ‘crop’.

Toni, “Exceptional!” I worked for major ad agencies/ clients in San Francisco, CA—and your logo has impact, keen to the eye and easily translated for all media (print/ TV and the like!). Keep up the good graphics.. you have “genuine talent!” (My career spanned 30+ years). I remain a Business Consultant/ Publicist/ Project Manager/ Marketing/ Advertising
(Remember: When I started, it was art board and rubber cement. Today, it is all computer generated! What a Life.. I missed out on the EASY stuff. <wink!>
