Interview With Cadu de Castro Alves

Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?

Co-working spaces are offices where people share knowledge, experience, resources and work together, like the bees. The “bee icon” (lettering) represents each coworker (which we call a bee) growing up, because our mission is helping each member of our office to be the best professional that he could be.

Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.

Photoshop and Illustrator.

Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?

I started using pencil and paper and then I moved to the computer.

Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?

Helvetica and Din Pro.

Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?

Because bees are yellow and black! =P

Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?

One week.

Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?

Be modern, clean and make something that could represent my business as better as possible.

Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?

Anything. I love this logo! =)
