Q:Where did the idea for this logo come from?
The design came to me while sketching in my book. I started dottin’ around, and soon I found myself in Illustrator, working this lovely piece out. It was quite hard to get just the right amount of dots, so i used quite a long time and tweaking it.
Q:What application did you use to design this logo? E.g., Illustrator.
As for all my designs i use Adobe Illustrator. Every logo designer should do the same.
Q:What was your design process for this logo? I.e., Did you start out with pen and paper then move to the computer?
As usual, I started of mind-mapping, then sketching and with a few concepts at hand, I turn to Illustrator to vectorize and digitalize before presenting to client.
Q:What font(s) were used in the logo?
This is a tweaked version of Gotham I believe.
Q:How did you choose the color scheme for the logo?
I’ve tried doing this in color, but whatever I tried I ended up coming back to the B&W for ultimate minimalism.
Q:How long did it take to complete the logo?
A few days I guess.
Q:What do you feel was your biggest challenge in designing the logo?
Once I had the concept, it was quite easy. But still I knew the execution would be crucial for this to succeed.
Q:Now that the logo is finished, is there anything you would change about it?
Nope, once it’s finished it’s finished. Client is happy about it, so am I
